The BMW B58 is a turbocharged inline-six engine which began production in 2015.[1] The B58 replaced the N55 and was launched in the F30 340i.[2]

In 2016, the B58 (installed in the 340i) topped Ward's 10 Best Engines list. It was included again the next year (installed in the M240i) and for the third time in 2019 (installed in the X5 40i).
